Starting out as a young theater actor, Randal transitioned his performance skills into filmmaking. Inspired by Artaud's Theatre of Cruelty, he likes to bite at the hand that feeds, creating shocking images that can resonate in one’s mind. He also feels that it is important to take that hand and give it a big delicious treat at the same time. Randal has directed music videos that explore the dark and light sides of human nature for artists such as Louis Corte, King Fantastic, and Pirate Signal. Living on the street while shooting the TV series Homeless Real World, inspired him to direct his first film, Pawned, which has been selected in numerous festivals across America and internationally.
